It Started With a Pile of Collapsed Cardboard Boxes
You know that moment during a move when you’re juggling a wobbly tower of cardboard boxes, and one collapses right as you’re carrying it to the truck? That was the exact moment I knew there had to be a better way.
After helping countless friends and family members move over the years, I kept seeing the same frustrating problems: boxes falling apart, endless assembly with packing tape, and mountains of cardboard waste piling up afterward. The whole process felt unnecessarily complicated and wasteful.
That’s when the idea hit me: what if moving didn’t have to involve cardboard boxes at all?
From Corporate Life to Building Something Better
I’m Kourtney, the owner of Bins On The Move, and I’m passionate about making your move as stress-free as possible.
After spending 17 years in the corporate world with Cingular (now AT&T), I finally decided it was time to put my business degree to work on something I truly cared about. Originally from Louisiana, I moved to metro Atlanta after college and have called the Cumming area home for the past 9 years. My husband Bill and I are kept busy by our two kids—Hunter (14) and Karoline (12)—and their never-ending sports schedules and social activities.
Living in North Metro Atlanta for over 18 years, I’ve watched the entire service area continue to grow year after year. From Cumming to Canton, Alpharetta to Milton, and all the communities in between—these are incredible places to live with excellent schools, family-friendly neighborhoods, and close proximity to Atlanta. But with all that growth comes a lot of moving, and I saw an opportunity to help my neighbors through one of life’s most stressful experiences.
