Moving is stressful enough. If you’re searching for moving boxes in Cumming, GA, there’s an easier way to pack without adding more work to your already overwhelming to-do list.
And yet, traditional cardboard moving boxes create a whole list of extra tasks before you’ve even packed a single thing.
If you’re searching for moving boxes in Cumming, GA, there’s an easier option you might not know about: renting reusable plastic moving bins that are delivered directly to your door.
Why I Started Looking for an Alternative to Cardboard Moving Boxes
When I started BINS ON THE MOVE, I kept coming back to one question: Why are we still doing all this work just to get moving boxes?
Think about everything involved with cardboard boxes.
First, you have to figure out how many you need and where to buy them. Then you have to get them home, put them together, and tape every single one.
And that’s before you’ve packed anything!
Then come all the other questions:
- How much can I actually pack in this box?
- Is it going to be too heavy?
- Is the bottom going to fall out?
- How high can I safely stack these boxes?
- What happens if it rains on moving day?
- What am I supposed to do with all these boxes when I’m finished?
I kept thinking there had to be a better way.
That’s ultimately why I started BINS ON THE MOVE, a locally owned reusable moving bin rental business serving Cumming, GA, and surrounding North Metro Atlanta communities.
Why Reusable Moving Bins Are a Better Alternative to Cardboard Boxes in Cumming, GA
Instead of buying cardboard boxes, putting them together, and hoping they hold up, you can rent heavy-duty plastic moving bins that arrive ready to pack.
No Tape, Assembly, or Breaking Down Boxes
This is one of my favorite things about reusable moving bins.
You don’t have to spend hours assembling boxes or worrying about whether you used enough packing tape.
Just open the lid, start packing, and close it when you’re finished.
And after your move? There’s no mountain of cardboard boxes to flatten, recycle, or throw away.
Durable, Stackable, and Easier to Organize
Our moving bins are made from heavy-duty plastic with attached lids. They’re designed to stack securely, making it easier to organize your belongings while packing, transporting, and unpacking.
They’re also more resistant to moisture than cardboard boxes, which is especially helpful when you’re moving in unpredictable Georgia weather.
You still want to pack responsibly and avoid overloading them, but you don’t have to worry about a cardboard bottom giving way because the tape didn’t hold.
Delivered to Your Door and Picked Up When You’re Done
Imagine getting ready for your move and simply saying, “I need 40 moving boxes. Just drop them at my door.”
That’s exactly the kind of convenience I wanted to create.
No running from store to store looking for boxes. No loading them into your car. No hauling them home.
We bring the bins to you, and when you’re finished moving and unpacking, we come pick them up.
What Customers Say After Using Moving Bins
One of the most rewarding parts of owning BINS ON THE MOVE is hearing customers’ reactions.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard some version of:
“Oh my gosh, I will never use cardboard boxes again!”
Customers love how easy the bins are to pack, stack, move, and unpack. But what they really appreciate is the entire experience.
We deliver the bins, they use them for their move, and we pick them up afterward.
Something that normally requires multiple trips to the store and a lot of extra work becomes one less thing they have to worry about.
And when you’re in the middle of moving, that’s a pretty big deal.

5. We Pick Them Up
As your rental period approaches its end, we’ll check in to see whether you need additional time.
Still unpacking? You can request an extension.
Finished early or right on schedule? We’ll coordinate pickup, and that’s it.
Is Renting Moving Bins More Expensive Than Buying Cardboard Boxes?
This is a question I think many people have, especially if they’ve never heard of moving bin rentals before.
And the answer really depends on your move.
You can sometimes find free cardboard boxes, and buying inexpensive boxes may cost less upfront.
But there’s more to consider than just the price of the boxes.
Think about the time spent finding boxes, putting them together, buying tape, transporting them, and getting rid of them after your move.
When you rent from BINS ON THE MOVE, you’re paying for both the bins and the convenience of having them delivered and picked up.
For a lot of people, especially during an already stressful move, that convenience is worth it.
