MEET THE OWNER – KOURTNEY

BINS ON THE MOVE is a female owned small business based in Cumming, GA. We have been in business and proudly serving the community since 2024.

Kourtney is married to Bill and the proud mom of two kiddos, Hunter (13) and Karoline (11). Between their sports, activities and social lives they keep her busy!

Originally from Louisiana, Kourtney moved to the metro Atlanta area after college. She started her career with Cingular now AT&T. After 17 years in the corporate world and lots and lots of changes, she decided to put that actual business degree to use and open her own business!

How BINS ON THE MOVE was created...

Kourtney got the idea for BINS ON THE MOVE after helping friends and family with their moves and noticing how inefficient and time-consuming it was to deal with cardboard boxes. Between boxes collapsing and the hassle of assembling and disposing of them, she saw the need for a more reliable solution. This inspired her to start a plastic tote/bin rental business that provides sturdy, stackable bins to make moving easier, faster, and less stressful for everyone involved.

Part of this Community

Kourtney has lived in metro Atlanta for over 18 years, specifically Cumming for the last 9 years. Cumming, Canton, Alpharetta, and Milton, GA are highly desirable places to live due to their excellent schools, family-friendly communities, proximity to Atlanta, and safe neighborhoods. These cities are continuing to see growth year after year.

She saw an opportunity to help!

Kourtney saw this as an opportunity to help because she knew the inconvenience and waste associated with traditional cardboard boxes for moving. People often end up with piles of used boxes after a move, which can be a pain to dispose of. The idea of renting durable, reusable plastic bins/totes came from wanting to provide a more convenient, sustainable, and cost-effective option that helps reduce waste and makes moving easier!
